PURPOSE
The PURPOSE of Legacy Youth is to equip students to own their faith, grow their faith, and share their faith in Jesus.
MISSION
Our MISSION is to lead and encourage Legacy’s Jr. and Sr. High students into a personal and deep relationship with Jesus Christ. We do this by the leading of The Holy Spirit, cherishing The Word of God, discussing what matters most, offering heartfelt worship to our Savior, serving others in love, equipping students to live a godly life, and sharing the Gospel with their family and friends.
VISION
We SEE Legacy’s students, having been equipped and strengthened during their time in youth group, walking confidently by faith into a dark and dangerous world. They will be shining brightly for Jesus, they will bear the full armor of God, and they will share in Christ’s Victory for the rest of their lives.

5 Core Elements that should be joy-filled, engaging, and evident every time the youth gather:
- PRAYER: We need God to lead us in this journey through life, seeking His will for the next step is crucial and cannot be skipped.
- WORSHIP: Our desire is to give God what he deserves and that is us completely surrendered. Worship is a lifestyle that brings glory to His Name.
- GOD’S WORD: The bible is the perfect inspired Word of God. It is living, active and an essential piece of every believer’s growth. This is the foundation for everything done in and through Legacy’s youth ministry.
- GROUP DISCUSSION: We will discuss what matters most in the lives of the students. Making sure every voice is heard and ensuring our conversations are filled with grace and truth.
- BUILDING CHRISTLIKE RELATIONSHIPS: Engaging in healthy community can, and should, be a spiritual habit we help our students develop. “Healthy community” doesn’t just mean hanging out with Christians. This spiritual habit is about growing in Christlike relationships with everyone.
